  • Logit: Interaction term impact interpretation

    Dear STATA users,

    Greetings!

I am facing a problem of not knowing how to correctly interpret the effect of interaction between two continuous variables in my model. I know that there is no marginal effect for the interaction term itself as it wouldn't make much sense. However, because I am interested in whether the marginal effects of X1 and X2 (both continuous) could be affected by their interaction with X3 (also continuous), I am trying to find an appropriate way to report this in my research.

Until this point, I was able to find only those papers that are mostly helpful for interactions between both categorical/continuous & categorical variables, so I feel kind of lost. If anybody has good references/can share their experience with interpretation of interaction terms' effects in non-linear models, I would be very grateful for the suggestions!

Thank you for your replies in advance!

At the bottom you see several links to examples, one is to an example for linear by linear interaction in a logit model
