I wonder if the Hayes Process Model ( [Hayes, A. F. (2013). Introduction to mediation, moderation, and conditional process analysis: A regression-based approach. Guilford Press] and associated Macro for SPSS, SAS, and R) is based on the KHB method [Karlson, Kristian B., and Anders Holm. 2011. ‘‘Decomposing Primary and Secondary Effects: A New Decomposition Method.’’ Research in Stratification and Social Mobility 29:221-37; Breen Richard, Karlson Kristian Bernt, Holm Anders. 2013. “Total, Direct, and Indirect Effects in Logit and Probit Models.” Sociological Methods and Research 42:164–91] at least for binary outcomes? I obtain the same results with a logit model using khb for Stata and the Hayes macro in SAS.
