  • Regression for equality

    Hello everyone,

I have an econometrical rather than Stata question. If I run OLS regression on an equality (Such as "Y = C + I+ G+ NX"), how to interpret the coefficients of the regression? especially when some of them are bigger than one.

    Thanks very much!

    Barrie:
    welcome to this forum.
The equal sign beteen the left- and the right-hand sides returns in each and every regression.
Therefore you can estimate your macroeconomic equation using -regress- if you do not have a panel dataset.
If this reply is not helpful, please provide an excerpt/example of your data via -dataex-. Thanks.
    Kind regards,
    Carlo
