About "outcome" option in psmatch2

Hi:
I have a question about psmatch2. What is the use of "outcome" option, is it always necessary in the process?
I plan to do a psm-did process, do I also need to include outcome variables in psmatch2?

Nope, it is optional. You can see this in the documentation since outcome is listed in brackets. You might also want to consider kmatch (https://www.stata.com/meeting/uk17/slides/uk17_Jann.pdf)
