Csdid speed improvements

I am using Stata on Visual Studio Code. I updated the csdid command using ssc install csdid, replace. But it is still slow. Is this normal?

FernandoRios presumably. Speed is a function, in part, of your computer, but also how many observations you have and donors you have

Unfortunately, when you have very large datasets, or multiple periods and cohorts, csdid can be very slow due to the overhead of creating additional variables on your dataset.
In those cases, your best option still remains to be using R's version.
