Good day, everybody,
I have 2 questions regarding to event study analysis, where the first one is not directly related to Stata (if it's inappropriate, sorry for that).
1. Is there a practical difference between manually calculating abnormal returns and using "estudy" command? Does "estudy" provide well-established results?
2. When I try to use "Single Index Model" instead of "Market Adjusted Model", "estudy" command gives "r(2000) no observations" error. How can I solve the issue?
