  • Analysing Survey Experiment Data

    Hello everybody,

I am currently writing my master thesis and conducted a survey experiment in which participants were randomly assigned to one of three treatment groups (receiving additional information, priming effect) or into the control group (receiving no additional information). My dependent variable is ordinal scaled (Likert Scale).

Now my question is how to prepare the data correctly for further data analysis and what appropriate methods should be used to analyse treatment effects correctly?
I have data on individual level (no households) and my research question is if receiving the treatment (additional information) has an influence on the outcome.

I am thankful for any help/advise!

    Best regards,
    Else Distel
