Hi,
I appreciate this may be a rudimentary question (I'm new to Stata and haven't run quant analyses in a long while), but I couldn't find the answer in any manuals, forums, or youtube videos.
Once I've run an LCA (Stata version 17.0) and decided on the number of clases that fits the model best (4, in this case), I then want to define the 4 classes as new variables, so that I can then look at a) the descriptives for each variable of interest in people likely to belong to each class, and b) run a multinomial regression to see what characteristics are sig. associated with each class.
How do I do this please?
Thank you.
