  • Survival Analysis

    I am very new to Stata, and I have a malnutrition management data which I want to analyze. Can anyone give me a lead as to how to go about it using survival analysis? below is sample of the data

    All is contingent on whether the proportional hazards assumption holds, which you can test with Schoenfeld residuals for instance.

    If it does hold, after having stset your data, then I would definitely recommend using
    Code:
    stcox
    and producing Kaplan-Meier survival curves.

    If it does not hold, you'll have to resort to parametric estimation.
