I don't see any harm in asking for a tutor, but you're possibly not looking in the right place. They seem to advertise most vigorously on Twitter.
There are some full-time consultants who are members here and often answer questions but my sense is that they work only on substantial projects with legal contracts and for serious money.
Most people here who answer questions don't, I guess, also tutor privately for money.
Still, nothing stops anybody approaching you via a private message.
Daniel:
your original post was totally rewritten.
This does not allow interested readers to follow the flow of the thread.
First, you presented a list of questions concerning an assignment on OLS (with some questionable advice, too, such as adding a constant (1) to zero values before logging to avoid missing values upon transformation).
I replied quoting https://www.statalist.org/forums/help#adviceextras #4, as it was the case.
The make over of your post makes (FWIW) my reply inconsistent and the reading of the full thread unclear.
