  • Meaning of e found in the coefficients

So I've been working on an ordered logistic regression for my terminal report and found e within the values of my odd ratios. The values are as follows:
    - 3.7e-156
    - 8.3e+168
    - 6.41e-06

Can anyone help with the long version of these values and how u did it? I would greatly appreciate it.

    Here's one of them.

    . display in smcl as result %010.8f - 6.41e-06
    -0.00000641

    .

You might want to think things over a little more.

Those are not odds ratios: odds ratios are always positive, your numbers are negative, so they are not odds ratios.

Lets take -6.4e-06, that means $-6.4\times 10^{-6} = -0.0000064$ So the first number is basically 0, while the second number is extremely large.

If you see such numbers, then your model is in huge trouble, and you need to fix it before you can do anything else.
