Hi -
I would like to define a cut-point based on the point of intersection between the lines of two normal distributions present in my sample as determined with finite mixture modeling.
There is some overlap between the two distributions, and I would like to estimate the value of the continous variable "ptau", at which the frequencies of the two distributions are equal.
In order to estimate mean and variance of the two distributions, I simply use:
fmm 2: regress c.ptau
Does anyone have an idea as to how I may determine the point of intersection between the lines of the two normal distributions with a 95% confidence interval?
Thank you!
