Some .csv files not recognised by STATA 12.1 for unknown reason

I have about 10 csv files in a folder. 3 of them are not showed when trying these things:

- insheet
- dir *.csv
- The import feature in the menu

When I use the pwd command it is the correct directory, and the files do end with csv, open in Excel as csv's, and the file type is csv.

Somehow STATA sees 7 csv files but not the other 3. There shouldn't be any difference between them. I am totally lost about what to do.

Please tell us the names of the 7 files it sees and the 3 it does not see, and what operating system you are running Stata on.

Turns out I had two folders called "Data"
