Summarizing descriptive statistics when there are multiple entries

Hello,

In my dataset, each person/patient has multiple entries. Is there a way to summarize descriptive statistics, race, age, etc. without reshaping? I don't want to be counting people more than once.

You can use - egen - with the option - tag - to create an id-tagged variable, say, mytag, then: tabulate var if mytag
