Help - estout export to csv - a whole row is concentrated in one cell

Hi friends,

I am trying to export a table to excel using estout. Instead of each value being put in a cell (="..."), for some of the lines I get one cell with all the values, some of them distorted.

I believe you need to change your output filename from "AllSpec.CSV" to "AllSpec.csv" to create a csv file, or if the capitalization is important to you, add the csv option to the esttab command. See the description of the document format options in the output of the help esttab command for a longer description of the document format options and their defaults.

I believe that your example created a fixed-format text file, which you could see by opening it in a plain text editor.
