ttesti equivalent of oneway ANOVA

Hi all,

I need to compare means of a parameter of 8 groups (independent). I do have SD but I do not have individual data.

I was wondering is there any Stata sytax for oneway ANOVA ?

Sateesh, if you only have 8 means and 8 SDs, ttesti could do such "immediate form" of tests for any pair of means (you also need to provide sample sizes for both groups). With individual data, pwmean could compare every pair of means together, but I'm not aware of any "immediate form" command for this case -- you may code if you know the formula of test statistics.
