  • Table command in Stata 17: add column name to first column

    Hi,

I'm exploring the new table and collect commands in Stata 17, and find that it has many useful formatting options. I'm trying to make a table that I can export directly to a LaTeX report, without having to making any changes to it after exporting to tex. But there's one thing that I haven't managed to to anything about, and that is to add a column name to the column of row variable names.

    A simple example:
    Code:
    sysuse cancer
    table (drug) (died)
You can see the output in the attachment. What I would like, is for the title "Drug type" to be on the same row as "No Yes Total". Or in any way add a column name to the row name column. I hope this is possible to do, but I have not been able to find a solution in the table manual, or in any other forums.

    Thank you in advance!
