Importing files in from Microsoft Teams

Our team has recently switched over from using a shared drive to exclusively keeping all files in Microsoft Teams. Does anyone know if it is possible to use a file path that links directly to the file in the Teams cloud? Currently the only way I see to use the files is to, sync the folders to my drive and then use the file path located on my local drive but each team member would need to change the file path and sync the folders so it does not seem like a great long term solution.

I think syncing is your best (or only) bet because it ensures synchronization of all changes. If you can determine a URI for the file then Stata might be able to open it, but there would be no guarantees if you needed to save edits to those files.
