graphing relative declines, control means?

Hi all,

I am trying to think about the best way to plot relative declines of something. Is there a good way to put control means on graphs? Or is there another way to think about doing this?

This is too general for me to be confident about your situation or about what kind of answers you are hoping for.

Relative decline makes me suspect that you are plotting outcomes against time and that logarithmic scales might be useful so long as values remain positive.

If control means are reference levels they may naturally be plotted as horizontal levels or points on any graph.
