Double metaphone

Hello,

Does anybody knows how to obtain the phonetics using the Double metaphone algorithm in Stata? I have found soundex and nysiis, but nothing about double metaphone.

Yes, you can use the user-written command phoneticenc. It is a Stata wrapper for a Java plugin. See https://github.com/wbuchanan/StataStringUtilities
