  • help with PSTR

    Dear All,
I hope you are fine and doing well.

I was trying to do PSTR (Panel Smooth Threshold Regression) for my analysis.
But, I couldn't find a command for doing this analysis.

Some, please help me with this issue.

    Thanks.
    Suresh

I have never heard of anything by this particular name - please provide a citation to help figure out what it is

Thanks a lot for the response.

It's actually a Panel Smooth Threshold Regression (PSTR).

There is a package in R, but in STATA, I couldn't find any command related to it.

For reference, one can check here:
          https://cran.csiro.au/web/packages/PSTR/index.html

          http://cran.nexr.com/web/packages/PSTR/README.html

          https://rdrr.io/cran/PSTR/

Thanks and hoping for the best reply.

No one knows of any such Stata program. You may need to write your own code or use some other software.

I clicked on all 3 links in #5 but did not find any lit. citations - and the first of the links just tells me it has been removed (though I'm not sure what that means since the other 2 links do take me to a place that appears relevant for R users); are there any actual lit. citations?

thank you for that cite - since the authors of that paper used Stata, I suggest you write directly to them asking for code

Dr. Suresh...Did you get those codes? If yes, can you please share it with me as I'm struggling to get them as well?

                          Hello everyone,

Has anyone managed to get the code? The 'xthenreg' command is not working for me.
