Java virtual machine is not available at this time

My Stata 15 suddenly stop working and I receive the message "Java virtual machine is not available at this time" anytime I tried to run a do file. I do not use Java or any coding software rather than Stata.
Can you please help me how to fix it?

Same issue here and I have no idea why it is happening. I thought maybe I needed to update Java, so I did (and restarted my PC just in case) but still got the same error. Have you had any luck since you posted this?

Actually I had this issue when trying to update Stata. So I reinstalled Stata and turned of the update function. Then it seems working fine by now
