    Hello;

    I have three dependent variable and all of them are binary, and a list of independent variable (some continuous and some binary). I want to estimate the descriptive statistics and include whether the mean is statistically different among two groups (female and male). I don't know which command to use

    ie. I want to have a column for mean and SD for female, then mean and SD for male, then next column indicating ttest for each variable

    Looking forward for your response.

    Godsaviour:
    welcome to this forum.
    Admittedly, your post is not in line with the FAQ requirements, that you're recommended to read and act on.
    That said, if you have a binary variable to compare between two groups, what's the role of -ttest- here (as it was conceived for continuous variables)?
    Kind regards,
    Carlo

      Hello Carlo;

      Okay I get it, the Chi Square test

      I want to test something like this

      tab female own_account, chi2

      To see whether account ownership is different among male and female group

        This post might be of interest to you. I present a asdocx-based solution to a similar problem.

        Check out my asdoc program, which sends outputs to MS Word.
        For more flexibility, consider using asdocx which can send Stata outputs to MS Word, Excel, LaTeX, or HTML.
