  • Spider (Radar) Plot

    Dear stata users,

I have been trying to make a spider graph, but I couldn't do it.

I have the yearly total (2017 - 2021) revenue per shipper size and i would like to draw a spider graph in order to evaluate each tendency.

    Can anyone help me?

    Thank you,

    Max

Lots of resources on the internet if you search "Stata radar plot" or "Stata spider plot". Please do such searches before posting (as the Forum FAQ advises). Have you looked at https://medium.com/the-stata-guide/s...s-613808b51f73, say?

And have you tried search radar at your Stata prompt?

    Code:

I tried.....I even replicate the auto example. But I haven't been able to draw a line for each year. I should have five circles, one for each year and the shipper sizes (s_size).

      Thank you for the help.

In order for us to help you we need to know exactly what you tried. Remember, we know nothing about you other than what you put into your question. A useful way to check your own question before you hit the post button, is to imagine you were one of us and had to answer that question based on only the information in that question.

I am at a loss to understand the appeal of a radar or spider design when you have years 2017-2021. Keep it simple and plot a line plot or bar chart with time as horizontal axis.
