I was wondering whether there is someone out there who has dealt with the AKM approach in Stata to examine manager fixed effects? I am currently doing my research by utilizing the approach from Betrand & Schoar (2003) but would also like to incorporate the AKM approach to check / suplement my research design. I have some difficulties to fully understand how to incorporate that methodology in Stata. Furthermore, I was wondering whether you believe that the AKM approach is really so much more powerful as it has the potential to increase the sample size and reduce the selection bias.
If there is someone who has 1) dealt with this particular AKM methodology and 2) is willing to share some information, i.e. answer some questions, please reply to this post. I very much appreciate it.
