  • Bayesian cost-effectiveness analysis

    Hello,

I have incremental costs (in USD) and incremental effects ( as an adjusted hazard ratio) between two treatments. I would like to use a bayesian approach to calculate the probability that treatment 2 is more cost-effective than treatment 1 in terms of $/HIV infection averted, $/death averted. and $/QALY saved.

Does anyone have example code for conducting a bayesian CEA using parameters from other studies?

    Thank you in advance,

    Marta:
you may want to skim through https://www.routledge.com/Bayesian-M.../9781439895559.
I cannot say at the moment (since I'm far from my bookshelf) whether Gianluca's textbook provides Stata codes for CEA.
    Kind regards,
    Carlo
