  • Setting significant levels and explanation

Hi everyone, I am new to the forum.

My original paper shows that " *, ** and *** denote significance at the 10%, 5%, and 1%, respectively."

But when I run the regression, the result shows that "t statistics in parentheses * p<0.05, ** p<0.01, *** p<0.001". It looks to me that " *, ** and *** denote significance at the 5%, 1%, and 0.1%, respectively."

I am wondering my explanation is falling into any fallacy. If my explanation is right, so how should I do in STATA to adjust the output that they can show the results of
    " *, **, and *** denote significance at the 10%, 5%, and 1%, respectively."

    Warm regards.

    Welcome to Statalist.

Your question really isn't clear without more detail, or at a minimum it is too difficult to guess at a good answer from what you have shared. Please help us help you. Show your code. Show us the output of that code. The Statalist FAQ provides advice on effectively posing your questions, posting data, and sharing Stata output.

Without knowing what command you ran to achieve your output it is not possible to tell you what changes to make to the command we have not seen in order to get the output you want.
