clogit command for cross-sectional data

Hello,

I am wondering if I can use "clogit" command for cross-sectional data.
When I searched "help clogit", it says "clogit fits a conditional logistic regression model for matched case-control data, also known as a fixed-effects logit model for panel data."
So I would be happy to clarify it.

It depends on what application you have in mind.

-clogit- can be used to replicate -xtlogit, fe-, the fixed-effects logit model of binomial outcomes for panel data.

-clogit- can also be used to replicate -asclogit-, McFadden's conditional logit model of multinomial outcomes for cross sectional data.
