Downloading SPOST13

Hello,

I want to use the -countfit- command but when i try to download the spost13_ado package (https://jslsoc.sitehost.iu.edu/spost13.htm) I keep getting the following message:

"Received fatal alert: handshake_failure
https://jslsoc.sitehost.iu.edu/stata/ either
1) is not a valid URL, or
2) could not be contacted, or
3) is not a Stata download site (has no stata.toc file)."

Anybody an idea what the problem is and how to fix it?

Can you download other packages without problems?

Which Stata version are you using? In case it's Stata 13: https://www.statalist.org/forums/for...ad-spost13_ado

Thanks Wouter, I work in Stata 13 but do not have the possibility to use the 'update all' command that fixed the problem for the person in the thread that you link to. Is there another solution to this problem?

Not normally a recommended solution, but you could download ado and help files manually from https://jslsoc.sitehost.iu.edu/stata/spost13_ado/ and put them in your personal ado directory.
