How to move an active STATA15 licence from one device to another

I need to move my STATA 15 licence from my current laptop to a new one. How do I need to proceed?

You should typically use the licensing information sent to you by StataCorp or the distributor who handled the purchase to reinstall on a different machine. You'll need to copy any other files of your own from one device to another (including community-contributed ados and help files if you installed any).
