Hello all
the title really says it all. I am having a good and long time using Maurizio Pisati's spmap. I am not sure yet, but I might need in the future to know if a certain point with X and Y coordinates falls within a certain polygon (best would be to know in which polygon the point is itself). I have seen this question has already been asked some years ago, but without a satisfactory answer so far. I would like to keep everything in STATA, I am not willing to learn other programs (like GIS) at the moment, since I prefer to capitalize on one single thing at time
. I hope there is a way, or an already user-written command.
Thanks in advance, best regards
