  • changing Stata output size using Beamer with -markstat-

I have lately been fooling around with German Rodriguez 's awesome -markstat- package to make Beamer slides. I've used Pandoc (alone) and RMarkdown (extensively) so I have some sense of what's going on and I've made some pretty cool slides. I'm super impressed with this package!

One question I have is if there's a way to adjust the Stata output to either
    • shrink to fit on the slide, or
    • use a smaller font size
I have the whole presentation set to use 10pt font using the YAML block but I still have a couple of -tab- results that go off the page. (I'm using -tab- to show the country codes and sample sizes of the the 29 countries in the 2014 European Social Survey.) I'm sure this will come up again later. (And fwiw, I can't fit it all on even if I use a Beamer theme with a smaller header.)

I'm hoping I just missed something silly. I've probably spent about 6 hours trying to figure this out myself. So I'm hoping my karmic sacrifice will lead to me finding the answer here. Thanks to any who might be able to help.

OK it's {.fragile .shrink}. It was something simple.
