how to split variables into several variables

Hi All,
I am using IFLS data and I have a height variable for every HH member (pidlink) within the same households (HHID). I want to separate height into 3 variables: maternal height, father’s height, and children height in the same HHID. Anyone could help me with the stata command? Thank’s before

Without any excerpt/example of your dataset (that you can share via -dataex-) it is really difficult (for me, at least) to reply positively.
