  • Partial proportional odds model with random intercepts?

    Hi,

Does anyone know if it possible (or advisable) to estimate partial proportional odds models that include random intercepts? I know gologit2 can produce standard errors that are robust to clustering with the cluster() option and can also handle the svy: prefix, but I haven't found a way to get random intercept models. Any guidance on how to estimate these models would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

The troubleshooting FAQ for gologit2 suggests some options:

See the section Can I do a random effects or multilevel model with gologit2?

Right! The FAQ...I had missed that. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, Richard.
