Do File Showing up as "Null"

I tired to open a do file that I created on Stata 15 at work on a Stata 16 software on my Mac which I received as a one week trial for class. The file itself opens, however, rather than the commands, it just says "null" and I'm unable to run the lines. We are still able to open it on the work computer via Stata 15, as such the file itself doesn't appear corrupt. Do you know what the issue may be?

Can you share the file? Or show the output of

hexdump filename, to(200)
