I have recently re-installed my Stata 15 version in the same computer.
I took care to uninstall it by following the Windows control panel instructions to exclude a program.
After re-installing Stata, I noticed that all the file icons refuse to appear correctly (.dta, .gph, etc.), as shown in the picture below.
This notwithstanding, I can still open and work with them.
I also have older Stata versions, not re-installed. Whenever I try to open any file in the older versions (say, from Stata 14), it happens the same way, I mean, they lack the correct icons.
I'm using Windows 10 intel i7 in a Dell laptop.
