  • Stock Price Pattern recognition using kernel regression on stata

Hello. I am doing a paper on technical analysis pattern recognition using Stata. Below is my initial work.

I also attached the data set. I am trying to replicate a paper titled "Technical Analysis," which is also attached to this post.

Now I want to code in order to detect the following patterns.

I think you've posted something very similar previously. You'll increase your chances of a helpful answer by following the FAQ on asking questions - provide Stata code in code delimiters, readable Stata output, and sample data using dataex.

Posting a picture of a somewhat complex set of rules and asking us to solve your problem is not likely to get much of a response. If you xtset your data, you can use lags and logic to generate these measures.

Phil Bromiley is right. This is in essence the third time of asking.

Judging by what you are asking (code for an entire project) and by how active users here work, I would say frankly that the probability of the kind of reply you want is negligible.

Someone competent has to want to answer this, and there is no sign of that so far. I'd say that if this is a PhD project you should be talking to your supervisor, advisor, committee -- as you appear to have a project that is beyond your programming competence. If this is something else, hiring a Stata programmer at your location might be your best bet, although my impression is that is usually hard to arrange too.

Check out my asdoc program, which sends outputs to MS Word.
For more flexibility, consider using asdocx which can send Stata outputs to MS Word, Excel, LaTeX, or HTML.
