  • How do you create a correlation matrix, while controlling for multiple variables?

    Hi guys,

I was looking at partial correlations where you can find the correlation between two variables, while controlling for one variable. However, I want to go more indepth than that. For example,

    I have 7 variables,
    1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.

I want a correlation matrix of 1 to 5, while controlling for variables 6 and 7. Is this possible on STATA, or will I need to do this in R?

    Thank you!

Hi Maarten, Thanks for that link, has been very useful. Do you know how I can export that matrix into Excel? Thanks!
