Order studies within group by time in meta-analysis forest plot

Hi everyone

I am working on a forest plot. I want to order the studies within each group by publication year. However, I can't find a good approach to this. So far, I have used

 meta forestplot, subgroup(worldregion) eform

Does anyone have input on this?

Hi Tarjei,
Interesting! Without subgroups, if you sort on study ID before calling meta forestplot, then it respects your sort order. But if you use the subgroup() option, sort order is not respected!
My only suggestion would be to use alternative command, such as admetan, which will definitely respect your sort order.
