  • Calculating P value relating to adjusted risk ratio using cs command

Hello, I am using Stata IC v12 to analyze data from a clinical trial, using the cs command to calculate adjusted risk ratio for effect of allocation with adjustment for a stratification factor, thus:

    . cs outcome allocation, by(stratification_factor)

I can't find the P value associated with the adjusted risk ratio + 95% CI yielded by this analysis - can you advise how this can be displayed?

    Thank you

You didn't get a quick answer. You'll increase your chances of a useful answer by following the FAQ on asking questions - provide Stata code in code delimiters, readable Stata output, and sample data using dataex. Note also that cs may not be used by the folks active on this listserve - I don't do that kind of work.

If you have a point estimate and a standard error, you can easily calculate the probability. With a confidence interval and a point estimate, you can easily calculate the standard error. However, the documentation says that cs stores a "two sided p value" in r(p) - that might be what you want.
