Using factor scores in analysis

Hello,

I am running some analysis involving latent variables. I have generated factor scores in Stata for the latent variables using the predict function.

I just wondered whether it was appropriate to use these factor scores in analysis (e.g. in regressions, t-tests)

Yes using factor scores as independent variables is common.
