Unusual font in the imported file

Could you please help me sort this out. The dta file after I import xlsx file shows the font in different symbols. Attached is the image

Could you please let me know how can I correct the same.

Try opening your excel file and saving it as csv file, then import the csv file to Stata. It's difficult to guess anything without knowing what the content of the excel file is, but by judging how some characters of my native language get imported sometimes to several softwares, I would hazard it can be related to special characters in your excel file.
