I am doing some meta-analysis.
Most of my data are in six-variable format - and Metan's default is to output SMD - which is what I want, as they are different outcome measuring the same thing.
However, two studies present data in three-variable formats (mean difference and 95% CIs). What would be the easiest way to incorporate the data from these two studies? is it even possible without individual group means and SD?
