  • Aggregate cluster-level analysis

I am new to STATA and trying to calculate a summary measure( mean and proportion) for students in 13 clusters with data having 80 observations. I have already svy set the data and stuck on the commands to use to get a summary measure. I am also asking for help on command to use to weight the data as the cluster size differs. Any help or directions is much appreciated.

    Welcome to the Stata Forum/Statalist.

You have the aptly named commands in Stata: . svy: mean and . svy: proportion

That being said, I wish to underline two additional points: a) If you have 80 observations overall, it seems the sample size is rather small for a survey analysis design; b) some of your doubts relate to the core-knowledge concerning survey and I strongly recommend to start by reading the Stata Manual on this subject before delving with the analysis.
    Best regards,
