  • Bachelor Thesis

Hi there! We are two swedish students struggling with our bachelor thesis. We are investigating the amortization policy that was enforced about a year ago in Sweden and the effects on the housing market.

We are having problems how to construct our model in STATA. Our study is going to measure the inner city sqmprice compared to five other city areas, large apartments sqm price compared to small ones and this in a time period from before the amortization compared to after. We use control variables in this model(rent & amount of apartments sold under month x).

Anyone have any ideas how to construct this?

    welcome to this forum.
The only (hopefully helpful) advice is that yours is not the way queries should be posted on the Statalist.
    Please read the FAQ.
As an aside, it sounds really strange that your professor/teacher/supervisor assigned you a bachelor thesis that seemingly exceeds your statistics/econometrics knowledge/skills.
    Kind regards,
    Carlo

Carlo gave the best advice. That said, if I understood the question, you may fiddle with glm command, having added the predictors, including a ‘time dummy’. To end, please use a more informative title for the query.
      Best regards,
