  • Example of multilevel logistic regression with only level-2 predictors

    Hi there,

I am building a multilevel logistic regression model without level-1 predictors. This means that I dispose only of level-2 predictors and thus want to analyze a macro-micro relationship. Do you know any literature on this topic or studies with a similar design? Like a step-by-step manual would be great. So far, I encountered only literature working with predictors at min. 2 levels.

    Thank you very much!

    All the best,
    Pavel

Ok, so I realized that there are no multilevel models without predictors at min. of 2 levels. I was a bit confused by the R2 macro measure (Snijders, Bosker 2012, p. 111) that estimates how much variation is explained by a level-2 (macro) predictor in a multilevel model.

Snijders, Tom/Bosker, Roel (2012) Multilevel Analysis: An Introduction to Basic and Advanced Multilevel Modeling. London: Sage.
