SSC install failure

I got a new device and had to reinstall Stata, now having problem installing rangestat and rangerun. Looks like a server error. What should I do? Thanks

I am also unable to reach the SSC website just now. I think it must be down for some reason. I suggest trying again later. That's what I'll be doing.

My most frequent approaches to computer problems are (a) trying again later and (b) rebooting my machine. It is amazing how many problems disappear that way.

As mentioned elsewhere, Boston College experienced a power outage on the 26th of March. This outage caused disruptions across their whole system including SSC. The SSC resources that I’ve tested are back online now. If you’ve been following Richard’s advice, then I believe it is now “later”, and time to try again.
