  • Data manipulation for ciplot

I use -ciplot- to show the state of Health (1Very Good...5Very bad) across Age. -ciplot- graphs the mean values of Health but I want to plot it as count (1,2,3,4,5) instead. Is there any way to trick the process e.g. transforming the data structure.

ciplot is from SSC, as you asked to explain (FAQ Advice #12). Its help tries to encourage users to look elsewhere

    (note added August 2011)

For fuller flexibility, consider using statsby first and then standard graphics commands
In this case sorry, but I don't get a precise idea how you want to plot your variables, or even why you're using ciplot when you don't want what it does. What you want on each axis? Do you want to show confidence intervals at all and if so for what parameter(s)?
