My goal is to constructe a variable that meansures the relative share of immigrants for each educational group in the different labour market regions. When I got that variable i should make some summary statistics of the relative share of immigrants, the logarithmic income, and the employment rate for the total population and for each education group.

Can someone help out how to do this? I can't figure out how to get the variable to be connditional for the educational groups and areas. I have only manage to make a variable that is the relative share of immigrants to natives.

      Robin:
please see https://www.statalist.org/forums/help#adviceextras, # 1 about not bumping unreplied queries. Thanks.
Your question is probably too vague to capture the attention of potentally interested listers (more frequent) or nobody on this list has a rough idea about the issue you are concerned about (less frequent).
That said, you may try to improve your question with what you did until now (that is what you typed and what Stata gave you back) and/or share an example/excerpt of your data via -dataex-. Thanks.
      Kind regards,
      Carlo
