Tabstat for year range in dataset

Dear all,

This is the command that I use to report the mean and median: tabstat tier1_ratio, by(year) stat(mean median)

The dataset contains from 1984 til 2013. If i use the command this will result in the following table:

Summary for variables: tier1_ratio
by categories of: year

I only want to report the years ranging from 1996 to 2013, in the table with the mean and median. Could you help me with this?
